Drug Tolerance Testing and Why You Should Not Use Online Report Readers

One of my promises to myself is to raise awareness of drug tolerance testing.

I have freely shared my story on national television, which was that I developed mast-cell activation, in response to an adverse drug reaction to prescription medication. A simple $149 drug tolerance test called DNA Dose correctly diagnosed me.

That is why I am passionate about drug tolerance testing. But this is why it may be important for you.

Bio-individual Triggers of Histamine Intolerance

The Bio-Individual Triggers of Histamine Intolerance

New Ingredient: Glutathione Setria

I wanted to update you on a new ingredient Glutathione Setria® that has hit the market which I am now personally taking.

There are three things going for this ingredient over the Seeking Health Liposomal Glutathione that I have been taking to date.

Product:

The product I have trialled is  Healthy Origins, Setria, L-Glutathione Reduced, 500 mg, 150 Capsules although the Setria® ingredient is widely available. It is a peptide based version of the three precursors to glutathione.

Price;

Its about half to a third the cost of the liposomal products. Enough said.

Taste;

There is none because it is a powder in a veggie gel cap. No need to grin and bear that strong sulfur taste anymore.

Clinical Trials;

Clearly show that it raises glutathione by up to 1/3rd.  Yes they were done by the company itself, and yes there is only one clinical trial, but its one more than most products. Also from this human test tube’s perspective it works! I literally can feel it in my body when I take it and when I don’t.

Those of you who are regular readers of my blog will know that glutathione is to me what turmeric or quercetin is to others. I can literally feel a dramatic difference in my health and wellbeing.

Whilst it has become abundantly clear to me that the trigger of my mast cell activation was CYP450 mutations (a Phase 1 Liver issue) and prescription medication (which resulted in a toxic shock due to the CYP450 mutation), it is also abundantly clear to me that my body laps up glutathione and anti-oxidants.

Why? Because glutathione and anti-oxidants are critical to detoxification.
